Purify Spaces, Eliminate Odours and Save Money with the Airius PureAir+ NPBI System
‘Active’ cleaning uses systems that circulate purifying agents in and around the environment cleaning the whole space at the same time, whereas ‘Passive’ cleaning requires air to go through a filter to be cleaned.
Clean all the air and surfaces in your home or business at the same time without the need for air to pass through a filter. By circulating active cleaning agents into spaces from the PureAir’s integrated NPBI emitters manufactured by Global Plasma Solutions, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of indoor air quality systems, harmful viruses, pathogens and contaminants are destroyed and rendered inert and safe, providing continuous 24/7 protection. Even if new contaminants enter the space the active cleaning agents immediately attack and eliminate them, even if transferred to surfaces. With a filter based system it may take hours to process all the air in a room, especially if new contaminants are brought in and they provide no protection against cross contamination.
Passive Air Purification
Passive air purification systems require air to pass through a filter in order to be cleaned. This means it can take a very long time to treat all the air in a room or space, which may not even be achievable in poorly circulated areas.
Active Air Purification
The PureAir+ NPBI’s Active air purification system does not require air to pass through the unit, but instead sends purifying agents from its integrated Ion emitters out into the space via the fan, not only cleaning the air, but all surfaces they come into contact with as well, all at the same time.
At the heart of every PureAir+ NPBI Series fan is a unique NPBITM NeedlePoint BiPolar Ion emitter, which emits a high concentration of Positive and Negative Ions which are circulated in to spaces via the fan. The ions polarity attracts them to all particles within the space, causing the particles to cluster together and make them filterable. They also bond with and neutralise pathogens, VOCs and odours by removing hydrogen atoms, breaking them down into their basic, harmless and odourless compounds, such as O2, CO2, N2 and H2O. In addition to biological pollutants these cleaning agents also neutralize chemicals such as mercury, benzene, formaldehyde, chloroform, and ammonia.
The Laboratories, Universities and Organisations above are but a few of the certifying bodies to have tested NPBITM Air Purification Technology.

Airius PureAir+ NPBITM Series Standard Series Range
Airius PureAir+ NPBITM Series Suspended Series Range
Every Airius PureAir+ NPBI Series fan features a top of the range, highly reliable & energy efficient motor, independently tested by BSRIA, along with a top of the range NPBI emitter from Global Plasma Solutions.
Data above is calculated at 50Hz. ¹Motor data provided by motor manufacturer and is subject to change at any time. ²Noise Levels recorded at floor level from units installed at maximum ceiling height. Accurate as of February 2020. Each facility has unique fluid dynamics, please contact supplier to specify your system.
Typically, Airius fans are installed in the ceiling space with the nozzle directed directly downwards and performs best when the air column is unimpeded to the floor.
Units must be hung using fixings such as hooks, chains, cables etc to professionally installed hardware capable of supporting a minimum of five times the weight of the unit.
